Thanksgiving Crafts

My boys were out for the entire week, so we spent the days leading up to Thanksgiving making crafts. We wanted to make a banner that said "Thankful." Gavin stuck with it & was in charge of the Big Shot. He cut out every single piece. He hammed it up a little here in the picture acting like it was a real workout :)



Caleb on the other hand started doing his own thing. He made turkeys, people and other animals out of the scraps. He has his own creative ideas and no time to listen to my directions :)



Here is our finished banner hanging at my parents on Thanksgiving day. We also made turkeys and glued them to sticks and put them in cupcakes. I failed to get a photo before all cupcakes were attacked by the kids!

Stamping Retreat

We had a GREAT time this past weekend at our Stamping Retreat. There were 28 of us there and everyone got A LOT done.... everyone but me! I was sooo tired and went to bed every night at 9:30 (this is so not like me!) Next year we will be having the same retreat on the same weekend (2 weeks before Thanksgiving). Let me know if you would like to be put on the list.

Wow Class Recent pages

3 of our most recent layouts in WOW class.

Here we used my favorite set, Just Jawing and we had a blast being creative using magazines & heat embossing. On this layout I also have a hidden journaling space using the topnote from the Big Shot.

check out these brads.... we used sharpies to add color.




WE just did this Christmas layout. I am LOVING using the big shot and it is so wonderful the way it will cut through chipboard!


We added another hidden journaling space under a photo and added red beads to the flowers. I guess I should have added a close up of that!





Finally, a summer layout we did...



where we used the iris folding technique with a photo! This was so neat to do!!!

Gift Galore Projects

Here are the full photos of the projects we did last weekend at the Gifts Galore class.


On the frame we used the new 1 3/4 circle punch and the Hostess level 1 set of 6x6 designer series papers. The 3 black circles are where photos should be.


We covered the empty paint cans with the new Halloween papers. For those of you who got a kit to go, use Tombow glue or Crystal Effects to adhere the paper. On the 3x12 strip, punch 2 holes using a 1 inch punch for the handles. For the lid the best thing is to go raid your kitchen for the perfect size circle. I used a bowl. Finally, stamp on your Top note, wrap the ribbon around and glue together.


This cute little calendar is still available in the Holiday mini!
