Christmas Ornaments

Caleb and I had fun tonight making these cute little ornaments. We don't have our tree up yet, but we are trying to get into the Christmas spirit. These are so easy!

My job was to take strips of paper (Stampin' Up's Dashing Designer Series) 1 x 4 inches and roll them around a pencil. Caleb's job was to pull the rolled paper off the pencil and push it down into the tiny hole of the ornament. I used the 5/8 grosgrain ribbon to tie on top. I just bought a glass bowl from Pampered Chef and I plan to fill it with these ornaments for a centerpiece.

Time Well Spent

Stampin' Up just sent all current demonstrators a FREE set. I got mine in the mail on Friday. What a treat! This set will be a Level 3 hostess set in the new Spring/Summer Collection. Last night I had fun playing around and made this cute card........

Calendar Class

Last night we had fun making a 12 month 12x12 calendar. It took us quite awhile to make them, but we had so much fun! This is the layout for the month of April.

Paper Bow Tutorial

The original idea was from a presentation at convention by fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrator, Deb Valder. This is a great project for using up all your scrapbooking scraps!

STEP 1: Cut your strips of paper. For this bow, I used 8 strips of 1" x 7", 8 strips of 1" x 6", and 1 strip of 1" x 4".
Step 2: Fold and adhere all of the 1" x 7" and 1" x 6" strips according to photo above. You'll need to overlap them at an angle.
Step 3: Attach 4 loops together to make a layer of the bow. I used staples in my example.
Step 4: Stack the layers together using pop-up glue dots between each layer.
Step 5: Make a loop from the 1" x 4" strip and adhere to the center of the bow with a glue dot.
Enjoy your adventures in bow-making!
