Founder's Circle Day 1

This year I was surprised to learn that I had earned a spot in Stampin' Up Founder's Circle. Each year SU rewards the top 100 demonstrators. I ranked #11 this year out of 42,000 demonstrators! WOW!!!! I am so blessed and so grateful to my customers and downline! Founder's Circle Acheivers are given a relaxing trip and I just returned from it!

Here I am outside of our hotel in St. George Utah. SU rents out an entire hotel and we take over. Each demonstrator gets her own room and SU transforms the place to fit the theme.

They spoil us with pillow gifts each night. I cannot show you the goodies in here, but you will see them when the Occasions Mini comes out. Let's just say they are AMAZING! You are going to LOVE them!!! :-)

On the first night we had a special dinner and SU decorated the place so cute! We all had a record in our spot and fun 50s glasses. Dinner was great and so was the company!

When we arrived, SU placed us each into groups. We sat with these ladies and were told to get to know one another because we would be playing games during the week and we would need to know about each other. My team members were Kari, Connie, Jan, me, Connie, Carol, Ruth & Vicki. They are a great group of women! Our group name was the Baubles and we each received a Bauble for our Simply Adorned necklaces. LOVE IT!!!

Each day we were given Stampin goodies as well as edible goodies. Check out this yummy dipped apple. I ate the entire thing! Yummy :-)

Lyla's 1st Birthday Projects

It was over a month ago, but I wanted to share some of the Stampin projects I did for our baby's first birthday party. Our little Lyla turned one on May 29th. We did an ice cream theme birthday and so I was able to use the fun little ice cream set found in the Ocassions mini catalog. I made party favors by decorating pink and white play-doh with our ribbon, ice cream stamp set and punches. I also made a banner with our big shot. The material was the leftover pieces I used on her birthday dress. So fun!!!

Hodgepodge Hardware Birthday Class

Summer is here! We are into our routine of sleeping in and staying up late. We stay in our pajamas a little longer and it is soooo nice!

Last night I had a Birthday card class where everyone received a Hodgepodge Hardware kit and then made 24 cards (4 of each). The cards turned out super cute and we had a good time making them!!! Everyone who came is ready for any upcoming birthday. Woo hoo!

May Scrapbook Layouts

WOW! Has this month flown by and so fast! I don't know about you, but we have had a million things going on. I have created soooo many things this month and finally I am MAKING time to share :)

These are the 5 layouts we did at my monthly scrapbook class. The June class will be June 18th at 6:00 PM (always the 3rd friday of the month). Call or email me if you would like to attend.

I love this layout done with the circle die with the big shot. I had fun making the hair have texture using the polkadot emboss folder in the big shot. Aren't the little kids cute?

These flowers are done using a NEW level 2 hostess set. I love this set because our punches fit to cut them out simply.

This layout was done using the NEW Presto Paper in the Summer mini. Everyone loved this paper and most made it their purchase the night of the class. If you have not see it yet, it comes white with embossed images on the paper. We used a stampin' sponge and ink pads to rub color on the paper. The embossed images resist the ink. It's like magic :)

Cute and simple baby layout using Perfect Plum

Have you seen the new travel set and matching paper? Love this too!!!!!

Stampin Up Cruise 2010

We just returned from the Southern Carribean Stampin Up cruise. It was amazing, as usual. This was my 6th incentive trip with Stampin' Up and they just keep getting better! This year we took all 3 kids. It was a little more work, but we all had a great time. Here are a few shots of our week long vacation. I will be posting more along with projects and ideas I saw.

Our ship was HUGE! Caleb & Gavin loved everything it had to offer. There was ice skating, in-line skating, a rock climbing wall, putt-putt, basketball, an arcade, pools and hot tubs and the list goes on. They loved getting to eat whatever they wanted on the buffet. Breakfast was their favorite. I believe Gavin's breakfast usually consisted of 2 chocolate donuts, 3 pancakes, 1 cinnamon roll and 2 pieces of toast! Today when he came home from school he asked where the buffet was!

We ate dinner with a cute little couple from Canada. They had a baby too. Little 9 month old Connor was super cute.

Our little Lyla did go to the beach when she was about 6 weeks old, but this was her first time to actually get in the ocena. This was in Barbados. She stayed in just long enough to snap this picture and then she was put in the shade where she slept.

I don't think we ever got a picture with all 5 of us in it. I'm just realizing that. I had too many people to take care of to think about my photos. The last 2 days, Caleb chose to stay on the ship in the kids area while the rest of explored St. Marteen and St. Croix. That's why we are missing someone :(

Check back here. I have more to share. I will also be posting different things to my family blog www.heartlandfamily.blogspot.com

Told you I had more...

These were the layouts we did this month for my scrapbook class. We used the Big Shot & Scallop die for two of the layouts. Doesn't it make a cute baby buggie & chick? The baby buggie was done in Tempting Turquoise for the boy option. I still have kits available...

I would LOVE to know what you think about the layouts! If you are looking, please leave a comment. It would keep me blogging knowing YOU want to see more :)

I've got more and I'm not done yet

As I write this it is SNOWING outside in Texas! Again! Tomorrow the high is in the 60s. CRAZY! The snow is beautiful, but I'm ready for Spring!

Here are more layouts from my monthly Scrapbook class. My next class is April 16th. Let me know if you would like to attend or visit my website for more info.

This layout was the original using a retired set. I then made it in different colors using different sets. The shaped paper was made using a template my friend and demonstrator, April Smith, made.
