I was selected by Stampin' Up! to participate in an exclusive opportunity with Build-A-Bear Workshop®
Only a small group of 60 U.S. demonstrators were chosen to hold these unique events to be held during the first 2 weeks of December! Today was my first! We had 8 adults, 11 children & numerous Build-a-Bear animals.
I was given a Holly & Hal Christmas movie and 2 books to give away. We had some very happy children! Build-a-Bear also gave away bookmarks and coupons to everyone in attendance.
We had 2 fun make-n-takes. We made a bag tag for their luggage or backpack. I plan on making more of these for Christmas tags on all the gifts for my neices and nephews.
I also took a photo of each child when they arrived and printed them out while the movie was playing. The kids made their own Santa bear with our Big Shot & dies and then we placed him on a picture frame.
What a fun afternoon!
I will be having my second Build-a-Bear/Stampin Up workhop on Monday, Dec. 14th at 6 PM. Please contact me if you are in the Tyler area and would like to participate. This is a great Mommy & Me event (for children 5 and over). Space will be limited. Email me to reserve your space now! april@heartlandham.com

This looks so fun April! This year I chose to do my daughters birthday party at build a bear and all the children left so happy. Even my "rough and tough" nephew left with a commando style build a bear called "kill" and now he sleeps with the bear in cute little boy form. (because it's a tough bear). What an exciting opportunity! It looks like everyone had a lot of fun.
